Khurram Dara is an attorney and the author of “Contracting Fear: Islamic Law in the Middle East and Middle America.” He writes about religion and Islam in America and has written for several outlets including CNN’s Belief Blog and The Washington Post’s On Faith blog. He is a graduate of Emory University and Columbia Law School.
