Richard McMillan

Richard McMillan is a professor and Chair of the History/Humanities Department at Pierce College. He has published articles on the coastal slave trade in The Georgia Historical Quarterly, and Gulf Coast Historical Review and “The Election of 1824” in The New England Journal of History. He received his Master’s Degree from California State University, Northridge where he worked extensively on the creation of the Natchez Courthouse Records Project in Natchez, Mississippi.
